Mentoring

The National Science Teachers Association continues to work with the mentoring program that was developed in cooperation with Montana State University and the New Teacher Center at UC–Santa Cruz through a $7.5 million grant as part of the National Science Foundation’s new Math and Science Partnership (MSP) program. The program, e-Mentoring for Student Success (eMSS), administrated by the New Teacher Center, aims to improve student performance in science by bolstering the effectiveness of new middle and high school science teachers by pairing the teachers with content area mentors.
