Anchorage, AK -- Three weeks after the recent earthquake disaster declaration, more than $34,400 has been approved for disaster relief for the Alaska Gateway and Copper River Regional Education Attendance Areas. The money will go to some of the residents that applied for federal disaster aid following the November 3-10 earthquake and aftershocks.

If you sustained damage to your primary residence or business as a result of the earthquake or aftershocks, you should apply for disaster assistance by calling toll-free 1-800-621-FEMA. Those with hearing or speech impairments may call TTY 1-800-462-7585.
