Williston, VT -- To further help individuals and businesses affected by the June flooding, Vermont Emergency Management (VEM) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will open two Disaster Recovery Centers (DRC) on Monday, July 22. They will be located in Franklin and Caledonia counties.

Operating hours for both centers will be 8am to 6pm Monday-Saturday.

Disaster Recovery Centers are designed to provide more detailed program information to those who have already applied for assistance by calling the toll-free registration number: 1-800-621-FEMA (3362). The TTY number for those who are hearing or speech impaired is: 1-800-462-7585. Recovery specialists are available to take calls from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday-Saturday.

The centers will be staffed with disaster recovery specialists, including representatives from FEMA, state, and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to assist homeowners, renters and business owners affected by the June flooding.
