Road Closures

Some roads in our area are subject to closure, usually due to weather. Sierra Nevada mountain passes, including Tioga Pass in Yosemite National Park, are closed during the winter. Roads in Death Valley National Park are occassionally closed due to flooding. For current California road closure information, please call toll free 1-800-427-ROAD (7623) or  916-445-7623.

Did You Know?
One hundred fifty Japanese Americans died while interned at Manzanar, but only six are still buried in the cemetery. Most of the 150 people were cremated, and others were removed from the cemetery after the war.
