The nearest large airports are located in Los Angeles, Burbank, and Ontario (California), and Las Vegas and Reno (Nevada). All are 225-250 miles from Manzanar.

At this time there is no regularly scheduled bus service to Manzanar.

Did You Know?
The Manzanar Interpretive Center is in the former high school auditorium. It was built by internees in 1944. For decades after the war the building was used by the county as a heavy equipment garage.
