Complementary and Alternative Medicine: Focus on Research and Care features a fresh new design and content more focused on research and patient care. It also includes an insert specially designed for consumers. They are “Studying the Effects of Natural Products,” presented by Ram Sasisekharan, Ph.D. of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and “Neurobiological Correlates of Acupuncture” presented by Bruce Rosen, M.D., Ph.D. of the MGH/MIT/HMS Athinoula A. Straus Distinguished Lecture in the Science of CAM» On March 10, 2009, Dr. Sherwin Nuland, Clinical Professor of Surgery at Yale University School of Medicine and National Book Award winner will present "Chinese Medicine, Western Science, and Acupuncture." This inaugural lecture of the Stephen E.
