MedlinePlus® Improves Access to Disaster Information with Ten New Health Topics

O n June 25, MedlinePlus released 10 new Health Topics on disasters -- Chemical Emergencies, Earthquakes, Floods, Fires, Hurricanes, Radiation Emergencies, Tornadoes, Tsunamis, Volcanoes and Winter Weather Emergencies. The topic pages are available in both English and Spanish.

Each topic page provides a summary and links to information for consumers. The English pages also link to Go Local for finding disaster preparation and recovery resources in your area.

Some of the topics also link to health information in multiple languages.
