This Notice is directed to those applicant institutions that submitted applications to the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) for the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) Institutional Training Grant (T32) on the May 10, 2005, application receipt date.

Ordinarily, the NINR accepts NRSA Institutional Training Grant applications on the May 10 th application receipt date ONLY. However, due to a delay in the review process, the NINR is allowing the May 10, 2005, applicants the opportunity to submit “resubmission” (formerly “revised/amended”) applications for the NIH standard September 10, 2006, receipt date. These applications will be considered at the January 2007 NINR Council.

This is a one-time NINR special exception; the normal process is for NINR to only use the May 10 submission date each year. 

Applicants should use the current PHS 398 application forms and instructions, which are available at: http://grants.nih.gov/grants/forms.htm.
