FEMA Publishes Final Rule To Reflect Current Organizational Structure

FEMA today published its final rule, "Technical, Organizational and Conforming Amendments; Title 44 Chapter I." Information on this final rule is now available at edocket.access.gpo.gov/2009/pdf/E9-6920.pdf, or at www.regulations.gov (Docket number "FEMA-2008-0013").
The rule is a technical amendment to FEMA’s regulations adding changes that reflect FEMA's current organization and procedures, such as directorate names and addresses, but not affecting the substance of the regulation.
As of April 3, 2008, the current print version of the regulations will not reflect these changes, which are made in nearly every Part of our Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). Those needing to reference Title 44, Chapter I of the CFR should use the electronic version, which is updated daily. This resource can be accessed at www.gpoaccess.gov/ecfr/ (select Title 44 from the drop down menu).
