Plate 26. Shoreline of a permanent lake, moderately brackish, cover type 4 (V-C-4). Vegetative debris in windrows on shore is composed of western widgeongrass (Ruppia occidentalis) from central permanent-open-water zone, and sago pondweed (Potamogeton pectinatus) and claspingleaf pondweed (Potamogeton richardsonii) from open-water phase of marginal deep-marsh zone.
