There are a variety of ways you can support Catoctin Mountain Park and the National Park Service.
Catoctin Mountain Park has an active Volunteer In the Park program. We are looking for people who care about our natural and cultural resources and who care about people. Individuals and groups may volunteer their time, energy, hard work, and service directly in the park.

Eastern National is a cooperating association that partners with Catoctin Mountain Park. They sponsor a small bookstore in the park Visitor Center and make donations directly to Catoctin Mountain Park.

The mission of the National Park Foundation is to strengthen the enduring connection between the American people and their National Parks by raising funds, making strategic grants, creating innovative partnerships and increasing public awareness.

The Greater Washington National Parks Fund seeks to improve the identity of, and deepen support for, the National Park Service in its roles as stewards of the Greater Washington National Parks. GWNPF is an initiative of the National Park Foundation, the Congressionally-chartered nonprofit partner of America’s National Parks.

Did You Know?
After camping in Misty Mount for 1 season (1937), the Maryland League for Crippled Children moved to Camp Greentop, one of the earliest camps in the nation designed specifically for people with disabilities. Renamed The League for People with Disabilities they continue to camp in Greentop today.
