The ISTSS ombudsperson is charged with advocating for any person in a dispute within ISTSS; however, the ombudsperson also advocates for fair processes and their fair administration. The ombudsperson operates independently, and reports to the ISTSS past president. Comments made to the ombudsperson are kept confidential.
