ADTC provides treatment to convicted sex offenders. The Bureau of State Use Industries/DEPTCOR operates a clothing shop at the facility. The Northern Regional Unit, located in Kearny, serves as the temporary location for civilly committed sexual predators. Post-release treatment services are an integral part of the sex offender parole programs. A relapse prevention program uses psychologists to run aftercare groups at ADTC.
