Equipment Pool
The Equipment Pool provides various types of experimental hardware to beamline scientists at the Advanced Photon Source. This hardware is made available for short term loans (typically several days to a week or two, but this is flexible). Depending on budgets, we purchase new equipment, based largely on suggestions from the ring.

The AES MED Group has obtained a FLIR ThermaCAM SC6000 MWIR imaging system. Under very controlled circumstances, this equipment may be utilized at the APS beamlines. Follow the above link for more details. |
The EQPT POOL has purchased a sample press along with Hermetic lids and low-mass pans for use with the Linkam DSC. |
