This bar chart shows the average number of ambulatory care visits for non-elderly and elderly people with ambulatory expenses by urban-rural categories. The average numbers of visits are as follows: Under age 65: metro, 6.8; near-metro, 6.8; near-rural, 7.0; rural, 5.9; Age 65 and over: metro, 13.0; near-metro, 12.2; near-rural, 10.3; rural, 12.8.
