NMFS Opening Offshore Pacific Codin the Western GOA The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is opening directed fishing for Pacific cod for vessels catching Pacific cod for processing by the offshore component in the Western Regulatory Area of the Gulf of Alaska effective 12 noon, Alaska local time (A.l.t.) April 18, 1999, according to Steven Pennoyer, Administrator, Alaska Region, NMFS. |
