Regional Medical Library Network: Building a Nationwide Base

A formal national network of 7 Regional Libraries, 125 resource libraries at medical schools, and 4,000 local medical libraries provides widespread access to published medical information. As the hub of the network, NLM is the key to a nationwide data gathering system that connects far-flung center of expertise, forming them into an efficient resource available to all.
