NMFS Announces 2008 Electronic Reporting Workshop in Seattle on November 20, 2008

National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) will present a workshop for at-sea catcher processors on eLandings, a consolidated electronic means of reporting production of commercial groundfish to multiple management agencies for Federal and State fisheries off the coast of Alaska, according to Robert D. Mecum, Acting Administrator, Alaska Region, NMFS.

This workshop will provide a demonstration of the new version of eLandings and training on how to submit daily production reports and fish tickets. The workshop also will provide an opportunity to respond to processors’ questions and concerns.
