Statewide implementation of Tennessee Child Health Profile (TN-CHP)

A flowchart illustrates how the TN-Child Health Profile works. The following information and providers feed into TN-Child Health Profile with links and VPN: Newborn screening; hearing screening; birth certificate; genetics and sickle cell centers; pediatric endocrinologists; and other databases. With parental control, this information is fed into three secure Web sites. The following authorized providers can access each site: Local health departments, ACUTE care hospitals and pediatricians and other providers. The three groups also share information between themselves.
