2005 Stay Out! Stay Alive! Event District 1 Area Schools Wilkes-Barre, PA

Youngsters representing four elementary schools in northeastern Pennsylvania took part in a poster contest sponsored by MSHA’s District 1 office. The students were tasked with creating drawings about the dangers kids and adults may encounter when playing on mine property. Those selected to receive awards for their artistic entries were honored at a district office open house held May 26 in Wilkes-Barre.
