Ability to install and administer hardware and software components of office LANs.

Description of Need

To ensure office LAN availability/connectivity in support of NWS requirements.

Specific Job Task Skills and Knowledge

1. Understand LAN architectures, technology (IE topologies and protocols).

2. Install LAN equipment and cabling.

3. Install, configure, maintain and administer Network Operating systems and associated resources.

4. Integrate users, office computers, and shared resources onto the LAN.
