CURRENT METROPOLITAN STATISTICAL AREAS TABLES
Due to changes in the CE sample about every ten years, the number of Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs) for
which survey estimates are available will change. CE estimates are available for 26 selected MSAs from 1986 to 1995, for 28 MSAs
from 1996 to 2004, for 24 MSAs in 2005, and for 18 MSAs from 2006 onward.

The high-income-before-taxes table has been discontinued with the release of the
2003 data. Discontinued tables from 1997-98 through 2001-02 are
available at high-income tables.
This data table has been
replaced by the higher-income-before-taxes table under Standard Tables.
The new table includes additional high income classes.
