Be a ranger even if you are not able to visit a National Park. Log in and join the fun. Activities change from time to time. Click here to login to the National Park Service Web Rangers site.

Junior Ranger Program

Junior Ranger (available for ages 4-12)– Learn about Cumberland Island by becoming a Junior Ranger. An activity booklet can be obtained at the mainland visitor center or at the Sea Camp Ranger Station. After completing the activities, check with a ranger to receive your Junior Ranger badge and certificate.

Educational programs for schools are given throughout the school year. Reservations  are required.

Did You Know?
There are over 50 miles of hiking trails on Cumberland Island. The trails go through the maritime forest and sand dunes, past salt marshes and into freshwater swamps.
