Leetown Science Center (LSC)

The Leetown Science Center (LSC) focuses on the mammals, amphibians, fish and aquatic invertebrates of the eastern United States, in areas including the Chesapeake Bay, Great Smoky Mountains, Appalachians and Great Lakes basin. The center works extensively in the restoration of aquatic species and ecosystems, specializing in topics such as fish and coral health and disease, environmental contaminants, and fish passage engineering.
