Alaska Science Center (ASC)

The Alaska Science Center (ASC) focuses on the fish, birds, and mammals of the Alaska and circumpolar region. The Center works extensively in genetics and mapping to understand the ecology and distribution of arctic animals. The Center also seeks ways to better understand and improve wildlife health in the areas of environmental contamination and wildlife veterinary medicine.
