Vertical rms motion

Per Louis Emery: At this time, the reason for the elevated Storage Ring RMS Vertical motion can not be determined. It is raised, but not high enough to be of immediate serious concern. Since stored beam has been delivered we are experiencing slight beam motion in the vertical plane. the beam motion is 0.78microns (0.55microns is normal). We are investigating and will update you when we have further information. Sun, 19 Apr 2009 14:10:21 beam loss

SR Beam was lost at 0459 on 4/14/9 due to an SR IOC power failure. As of now (0550) Controls Group personnel are onsite and are investigating/repairing the IOC.
