Meet Three Presidents

George Washington became the first President of the United States at Federal Hall on April 30, 1789. Theodore Roosevelt was the only President born (on October 27, 1858) in New York City.  Ulysses S. Grant lived in New York City in his later years, and was buried here on April 27, 1897. You can learn about them and their influence on history from park rangers at each site.
