About the Roundtable on
Religion and Social Welfare Policy

Formed in January 2002 with a grant from The Pew Charitable Trusts to the Research Foundation of the State University of New York, the Roundtable on Religion and Social Welfare Policy served through December 2008 as the preeminent source of expert, unbiased information on policy and legal developments concerning the involvement of faith-based organizations in social services. This website is an archive of the Roundtable's work, containing much of the research, analysis and news reporting created by its staff, in addition to other important resources.

Beginning in January 2009, turn to the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life for research and analysis of faith-based social services.
