JACKIE ROBINSON TO PRESIDENT LYNDON B. JOHNSON
MARCH 9, 1965

Jackie Robinson was sickened, as so many other Americans were, by events in Selma, AL where marchers--including women, children, and clergy--were clubbed, resulting in several deaths and many injuries.
