Celebrate Mother's Day

On May 10 in numerous countries around the world, men, women, and children are celebrating mothers. Watch Kenyan musician Eric Wainana’s tribute to mothers in the Population Council co-sponsored music video "Ni Kii Kiega" ("Mama"):

"I sing for my mum who bore me / She carried me in her womb for nine months / And on the tenth a visitor arrived . . ."

Join the Population Council in creating a brighter, healthier future for mothers in the developing world.
