A study to explore future scientific directions for the Advanced Photon Source (APS) was conducted through a series of workshops held duing May-September, 2004, at the APS and at the Abbey in Fontana, Wisconsin. A summary of the workshops was presented at the Strategic Planning Meeting on September 2-3, 2004.
