Enforcing Victims' Rights is designed for victim advocates with at least 2 years of experience working in the victim assistance field who want to expand the depth and breadth of their knowledge and skills regarding the legal rights of crime victims. This training provides theoretical concepts, historical and legal perspectives, practical guidelines, and a breakdown of the laws to help support the consistent enforcement of crime victims' rights. Call for nominations for the Sharon Corbitt Award

The ABA Commission on Domestic Violence has issued a call for nominations for the first annual Sharon Corbitt Award. The award recognizes lawyers from all areas of practice for their exceptional service to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and/or stalking, in the spirit of Sharon Corbitt. Nominations are due May 31, 2009.
