Kelebogile Setiloane, originally from Free State, South Africa, is an Associate Professor of Nutrition and Director of African Studies Program at University of Delaware. She earned her BS degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Botswana, a Masters in Nutrition from Louisiana State University and Masters and Doctoral degrees from Tufts University School of Nutrition Science and Policy, specializing in Malnutrition and Socioeconomic Development. Dr. Setiloane has made significant contribution on the nutritional and health issues of vulnerable and underserved populations, particularly women and children, in the United States and in Africa. Most recently she was one of two principals involved in writing the 2006 draft edition of the South African Nutritional Guidelines for HIV and AIDS.
