About the Region

The Los Angeles region is comprised of 19 California counties stretching from Monterey, San Benito, Fresno, Merced, and Mariposa counties to the U.S. Mexican border plus the State of Hawaii with its five counties. It also includes Guam, American Samoa, and the Northern Mariana Islands.
