#736Advanced QVR - Using Excel Pivot Tables

PivotTables are a very powerful feature of Excel. There are a number of Standard Reports in the QVR system that are in PivotTable format. This class is designed to demonstrate the features of PivotTables that are useful to users of the QVR system. They allow users to very easily customize

This class will be presented in two parts:
  • The first part will be a presentation on the Standard Reports features of QVR. There will be a brief overview of the Standard Reports available in the QVR system, their purpose and utility and a tutorial on how to manipulate data in the Standard Reports. The functions of the Standard Reports that are generated in Pivot tables will be demonstrated along with manipulation of the data to meet the needs of users.
  • The second part of the class will be a hands-on session during which participants will be given a series of exercises to practice using the Standard Reports and to manipulate the data in the Pivot Tables.
Class participants are encouraged to logon to the QVR System at the URL below and explore the QVR Homepage which contains useful information about the system.

PLEASE remember to bring your IMPAC user name and password to the class for the hands-on session.

Objectives:
  • To give the experienced user of the QVR System hands-on training on the use and propose of the Standard Reports
  • To generate Pivot Tables and manipulate the data in these special tables
Who should attend:
This class is the third in a series of three classes on the QVR System. There will be minimal review of the material covered in the second (Intermediate) class. Therefore, users must either have taken course 733 "Intermediate QVR Training Class" or have used the system extensively and be thoroughly knowledgeable of the features of the system.
