ORLANDO, Fla.  -- There is only one day left for survivors to visit the three Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) in Hendry and Okeechobee counties. The centers - located in Clewiston, Labelle and Okeechobee - will close Saturday at 6 p.m., state and federal recovery officials announced.

The centers are located at:

Harlem Civic Center

Labelle Rodeo Ground
100 Rodeo St.
Labelle

County Parking Lot
304 NW 2nd St.

The DRCs served individuals, households and businesses affected by Tropical Storm Fay and continued flooding. But survivors can still stay in touch with a recovery specialist by using the FEMA Helpline option at 800-621-FEMA (3362) or the TTY line for the deaf, hard of hearing and speech impaired at 800-462-7585 from 7 a.m. to midnight daily until further notice. On the web, disaster information remains available 24 hours a day at www.fema.gov.

Homeowners, renters and businesses in declared counties should use the same toll-free lines or website to register for FEMA disaster assistance programs.

FEMA coordinates the federal government's role in preparing for, preventing, mitigating the effects of, responding to, and recovering from all domestic disasters, whether natural or man-made, including acts of terror.
