For people like my Mother, diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia a Bone Marrow transplant cure. 80,000 African American people have been diagnosed with this rare disorder. As some of us know, many people have died because they never received a Bone Marrow Transplant. We encourage all Minority People to especially participate in this event, due to the high number of minority people diagnosed with this rare disorder and the low ratio of minority people who are aware of Aplastic Anemia and the need to be tested to see if they are a match.
