Change to CES State and Area data access with release of data on March 11, 2009

The CES State and Area program underwent some internal changes to processing that required the modification of data type codes for accessing CES data. Prior to this change, the data type code was the last digit of the series ID code used to extract CES State and Area data from the online LABSTAT database. The data type code is now the last two digits of the series ID code, which has increased in length by one character. For more information on the series ID code, link to CES State and Area Series Code Structure Under NAICS. This update became effective with the release of January 2009 estimates on March 11, 2009. The new data type codes are as follows:
