Carbon Cycle Science Program poster
The Carbon Cycle Science Program Office, in conjunction with the Carbon Cycle Interagency Working Group, has developed a poster entitled The U.S. Carbon Cycle Science Program: An Interagency Partnership to present at scientific meetings. This poster will be presented at the following venues:
- 50th Anniversary of the Global Carbon Dioxide Record Symposium and Celebration, Kona, HI - November 28-30, 2007
- NASA Carbon Cycle and Ecosystems Joint Science Workshop, Adelphi, MD - April 28-May 2, 2008
State of the Carbon Cycle Report / SAP 2.2 outreach materials
The First State of the Carbon Cycle Report (SOCCR) was released November 13, 2007. Several outreach activities occurred in conjunction with the release or are planned:
- The lead authors (Tony King and Lisa Dilling), along with the Acting Director of CCSP (Bill Brennan) briefed Congressional staffers and held a press conference to announce the release of the report
- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the lead agency for this report, has produced a Summary and Frequently Asked Questions brochure
- NOAA has also developed a poster for scientific meetings, to be presented at:
