    Criminal Division

    AUSAs in the National Security Section (“NSS”) handle cases involving international and domestic terrorist activities, espionage, and export control violations. NSS AUSAs work closely with the District’s four Joint Terrorism Task Forces (“JTTFs”), which consist of federal, state and local law enforcement agencies working on national security issues. NSS AUSAs participate in a number of working groups and security task forces to develop and improve the District’s security. NSS AUSAs are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide advice to FBI and other JTTF agents on investigatory tactics and responses to threats of terrorist activities.
