2008 ANL HEP Committees
This is a list of committees in the ANL HEP Division. This list is derived from an old list from 1997. All committees that existed then have been left in place for now, but they are not active if no members are listed. As they become active, members will be added. Committee chairs are underlined. If you have information on a committee( whether there is a need for it, who is on it, etc.) please send it to weerts@anl.gov.
Area Safety Committee Members: Involves Area Safety Committee, Area Emergency Committee, and Special Hazards Committee.
Award/Prize nomination committee; makes recommendations and prepares nominations for awards, prizes and fellowships.

Equipment Committee: Considers issues relating to HEP Division equipment resources.
Laser Safety Offficer:
Lunch Seminar Committee: Arranges weekly Tuesday noon seminars.

Nuclear Materials Custodian: Responsible for control of nuclear materials within the Division.

Personnel Committee: Advises division director on staff appointments and promotions.

Planning Group: Advises division director on divisional plans and priorities.

Peoples Committee: Organizes annual divisional picnic, Christmas party, and special social events.

Publications and Information Committee: Edits semiannual report, other reports and news releases. Advises on publication policy.
QA Representative: Advises division on quality assurance and acts as liaison with QES office.

HEP Safety Committee: Reviews experimental operations and special safety issues.
