The Defense Intelligence Agency operates in countries around the world, collecting and analyzing intelligence in support of national decision makers and military commanders.  To accomplish our mission, DIA seeks individuals with foreign language and regional proficiency.

All employees who attain the appropriate tested levels of proficiency in one or more foreign languages are eligible for monetary incentives. The amount of foreign language proficiency pay is determined by the level of proficiency and the criticality of the language to DIA's mission.

If you have foreign language and regional proficiency, and are seeking an entry-level position at DIA, click here for “Vacancy and Employment Opportunities” and then go to the icon marked “Entry Level Position.”

Whether you are applying for an entry-, mid-, or upper-level position at DIA, be sure to include details about your foreign language and regional proficiency in your on-line application
