TRB 89th Annual Meeting

The Transportation Research Board (TRB) 89th Annual Meeting will be held in Washington, D.C., at the Connecticut Avenue Collection hotels: Marriott Wardman Park, Omni Shoreham, and Hilton Washington.

Plan now to attend the TRB 89th Annual Meeting, an information-packed program that will attract more than 10,000 transportation professionals from around the world to Washington, D.C., January 10-14, 2010.

The TRB Annual Meeting program covers all transportation modes, with more than 3,000 presentations in nearly 600 sessions addressing topics of interest to all attendees—policy makers, administrators, practitioners, researchers, and representatives of government, industry, and academic institutions. The spotlight theme for 2010 is Investing in Our Transportation Future – BOLD Ideas to Meet BIG Challenges. More details will be posted as they become available.

TRB standing committees have issued calls for papers for the TRB 89th Annual Meeting and the Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board. While papers addressing any relevant aspect of transportation research will be considered, some committees are soliciting papers in specific subject areas to help potential authors identify topics for their papers. Committees will be producing calls for papers through June, so authors should visit this site periodically.

Information on how to submit a paper to the Transportation Research Board (TRB) for presentation at the TRB Annual Meeting or for publication in the Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, or both, will be posted on this site as it becomes available. The paper submittal system will be available on this site in June.
