Images from the History of Medicine (IHM)

Question: What information is available about an image?
Answer:

Scroll over a thumbnail image for a Media Summary, which provides the image title and order number. The image title, order number, and subject format also appear below the thumbnail image.

Click on a thumbnail to view the image in Detail View and display the full image record. In Detail View, the title of the image also appears above the image. The Media Information window to the left of the image provides bibliographic information about the image as well as the image format, image file name, and the height and width of the image in pixels.
