State of Alaska Program Summary
Mr. Dennis Steffy, Director Ms. Debbie Kendrick, Assistant Director University of Alaska - Anchorage Mining and Petroleum Training Services 155 Smithway, Suite 101 Soldotna, AK 99669-8035 The program trains miners and contract employees working at small, often remotely located mining operations. Training courses include Federally required 30 CFR parts 46 and 48 Underground and Surface New Miner Training, and Underground and Surface Annual Refresher. Each training class includes special emphasis on mine specific health and safety topics such as:
