After I enter the file name and hit RETRIEVE THIS FILE, the computer asks me if I want to OPEN or SAVE this file. What do I do?

This means one of two things:

    1. Your browser has been told to use a specific application for that type of file
    2. Your browser is not sure what to do with the file and hopes you will once it's saved to your hard drive.

If you want to use the file immediately, select OPEN. Otherwise, select SAVE.

If you're trying to look at a REPORT FORMAT file and you select OPEN, you will probably have to reformat the file.
