INFORMATION ON UPCOMING MONTHLY & ANNUAL RETAIL WEBSITE REDESIGN

 

Please be advised that starting in late June 2009, all of our monthly and annual retail trade data will be accessible through one website. Data and information for the Advance Monthly Sales for Retail and Food Services, Monthly Retail Trade Survey, Quarterly Retail E-Commerce Sales, and the Annual Retail Trade Survey will all be accessible through our new and improved Monthly & Annual Retail Trade homepage.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

Will any of the retail data be changing?

No. Retail data will not be revised as a result of the move to the new website.

Will the data formats available to data users be changing?

No. The current data formats that are available to data users will not change.

Will our links to current pages be changing?

Yes. Some of the current URL’s that are used on the website will change. However, there will be redirect pages set up so that if you go to an old link, you will be automatically be redirected to the new webpage.

What will the new website look like?

The design of the website will follow the model of the Monthly & Annual Wholesale Trade homepage. See the page located at: http://www.census.gov/wholesale/index.html for an example of the design and layout that will be used for the retail page.
