DS's Office of Foreign Missions regulates selected activities of foreign missions in the United States to help protect U.S. foreign policy and national security interest. OFM also works with its State Department partners--the Offices of Protocol and Legal Adviser--to formulate policies against the abuse of diplomatic privileges and immunities.
DS's Protective Liaison Division helps foreign missions protect their diplomats and facilities.
