Fitness 2009

Following the highly successful celebration of the Fitness Industry and Sports Facilities Show, FITNESS’s Organization is already hard at work on its Thirteenth Edition, which will be held between February 26 to March 01, 2009, in the Madrid Trade Fair Organization.

THE SUCCESS OF THE 2008 EDITION…..leading to a successful 2009 event.

The Latest Trends

FITNESS 2008 presented the latest state-of-the-art and most sophisticated innovations in equipment for public installations, gyms and home training equipment, including vibrating platforms, personal work-out machines, and cardiovascular, isotonic and muscle building equipment. Also present were the new proposals in Health Spas and Nutritional and Dietetic Products. And of course, the latest tendencies in Fashion, Footwear and Accessories could not be lacking so that you can be truly “trendy and attractive” when practicing your favorite sports. In addition, the Exhibition presented an extensive representation from leading firms in the fields of computers, entrance controls, software and the newest technologies and systems as applied to the gym industry.

“Full House” Attendance at all of the Activities Organized

FITNESS became once again the leading framework for the celebration of an attractive program of activities, which were highly celebrated by the visitors, among which we can single out the Sixth Edition of the Aero-Step Marathon, with maximum attendance. The body building fans were also able to attend the Seventh Open Fitness Championship on Saturday, March 29th, the same day that the Tenth Edition of the National Finals of Funk Lang was held. Together with all of this, the magnificent classes offered in Aero-Classic, Combat Fitness, Latin Mix and Aero-Jazz also aroused a great deal of expectation. We cannot neglect to mention the many seminars organized on very current and interesting matters like the diverse tools for practicing Pilates, the new varieties in Yoga and Belly Dancing and other new trends like: Mix-Latin, Aero-Dance, Body Wellness and Advanced Step. Needless to say, there was a “full house” at all of these great events.

In addition, FITNESS was the venue for a series of separate seminars, congresses and encounters organized by a variety of professional federations and associations. Among them, we can highlight the Eleventh National Congress of Sports Installation Firms (FNEID, which attracted a large number of professionals from the sectors of sports and municipal governments.
