RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The Department of Veterans Affairs opened its doors for accepting Post-9/11 GI Bill applications May 1. All Airmen and former Airmen with at least 90 days of active duty service since Sept. 11, 2001, can choose to apply for education benefits, which begin Aug. 1, 2009 under the new GI Bill law. New policy streamlines ancillary and expeditionary skills training
WASHINGTON -- As the Air Force focuses on giving Airmen more time to do their primary duty and reduce additional duties, senior leadership issued new policy guidance in March to streamline ancillary training and expeditionary skills training programs.

graduationHere are the 2009 selectees for the Air Command and Staff College Distance Learning Master's Program for civilians. The two-year program, for civilians GS-12, G-13, and pay band-02 who have not completed Intermediate Developmental Education and a master's degree. The program consists of 33 semester hours and includes 11 eight-week courses that explore modern Air Force operations and training. See the entire list of selectees here.
